It's great being back in school. While less time for personal stuff, we've done little but actual drawing, painting and rendering in photoshop since we started. Just the way I like it.

Having survived first a week of storyboarding, followed by the second Design Course with Lawrence Marvit, I can safely say that I enjoy myself greatly, even with the long hours.

This week we're doing still life rendering, focusing on light and how it works.

When not painting, I should best get my semester reflection paper done soon... you know, sometime. Also, I promise, that when I have had the time to fix up certain things on my design assignments, I will be sure to post them here. Maybe one in colour on facebook, for the main purpose of generating likes. People, I find, likes colour.

Meanwhile, here's my first actual still life done in photoshop.

Oh, and by the way, I absolutely hate working on the school computers because of their lack of calibrated monitors. It ruins your stuff when you look at them on a normal one.

Yes, it's an avocado with warts. I purposely made it ugly because it annoyed me greatly. I have the power.
